Application for krunner protocol

Mon Jun 27, 2011 7:04 pm
Hello.
When I pass svn://somerepo into krunner dialog, it starts Dolphin and open selected repository using KIO(as i think).

I want to open this path( "svn://somerepo" ) in another application, kdesvn for example... it is possible?

I think you have to change the default action for the svn:// protocol. That is done in System Settings > File Associations.

Type "svn" in the text box, and select "vnd.service.kde.svn". There you can add the program, or change the priority.

Let me know if this works for you.

This file "/usr/share/kde4/services/svn.protocol" has field "exec" with value "kio_ftp". When I change this field(with root privilegies) to kdesvn, and then restart kde-session - I recieve that I want. But this is manual way, and how can I reach such behavior without editing config files ?
