Hello all, this is my first post and I am quite excited to be a part of the community!
First off a little background information, I have only been using KDE for a couple days now and linux in general on and off for a few months so I am fairly noobish. I have found both to be a breath of fresh air ![]() I was wondering if there is any way to reserve space on your screen so that windows cannot overlap anything in that area? Say I want the area 0,0,300,1080 to be a no-go zone for windows for example. I figured it must be achievable because panels and docks use this feature but am struggling to figure out how. As I said I am quite new to this but I don't mind if the solution is rather difficult to implement as it will just give me a better understanding of the system ![]() Thanks in advance! |

If you place a panel in that area, then yes, windows will not be able to go into that area (although they will be able to go under the panel I believe).
