I seem to have a problem where Window Decorations and Desktop Themes don't work properly. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
I install opensuse and use an IP address that doesn't go through our proxy and everything is fine. Then I configure it for students and use yast to set it to our proxy box ( dansguardian and squid on a Novell Susee box ) and then set it to get a DHCP address in a range that uses said box. Now if I go to either Window Decorations or Desktop themes and select Get New.... I see the themes or decorations and if I click install it appears to go through the motions and says installed but it doesn't. Once you click close you can see nothing actually happened. Interestingly right clicking on the desktop and trying to get new wallpapers works fine Can someone give me some hints please ![]() Ta M PS this is opensuse 11.4 and KDE 4.7 |

This is definitely a bug in these two control modules. Please file one bug report for both at bugs.kde.org.
