I cannot seem to disable window docking/snapping in kde 4.7. I did use the window behaviour to adjust the zones to none. This had no effect. I want to be able to drag my windows to other workspaces. Window snapping is one of the more obnoxious features in win7 and I'm not happy to see it in kde.

In general, you can ignore the windows snap and keep pushing against the edge of the screen and it will switch workspaces.
(in KDE 4.5) there are options to disable the window snapping in System Settings -> Window Behavior -> Screen Edges. Did they change that in 4.7?
