Searching for files only returns few results. I'm guessing it only sees the indexed files. The other files are simply ignored.
I encounter this problem when searching with Dolphin or with Find Files/Folders. Should I report this bug? |

if you create a new user does the new user experience this? don't recall seeing this problem in latest version, maybe in an earlier version when the Dolphin search was changed. What version of KDE?
Are you getting the same results with Dolphin's search and with Kfind (Find Files/Folders)? Kfind does not use the Nepomuk/Strigi indexes it uses the locate db (if selected). |

Does it work properly if you try to search directories which are not indexed?

It's been a while. Sorry for the inactivity.
Find Files/Folders now works normally. |
