Using KDE 4.3.5 under Mandriva 2010 and SLES 11 I have full use of the cursor keys that are to the left of the keypad (Dell SK8135 keybrd)including the ins/del/home/end/pgup/pgdn keys.

The prtscn key would call ksnapshot for a screen capture.

Under KDE 4.6.5 on Mandriva 2011 and SLED 11 the definition has changed to where I have no use of the left, right, down cursor keys or the ins/del/home/end/pgup/pgdn.

The up arrow cusror key is not used to grab a screen capture with ksnapshot. The prtscn key no longer works.

Where can I make the keyboard def similar to 4.3.5? What file(s) do I need to edit?

Check your global shortcut settings in System Settings -> Shortcuts and Gestures -> Global Keyboard Shortcuts. Select your application from the drop-down, and see if the relevant keys are assigned.
