Hi,
I am just starting with the OpenSource FreeCAD program. Right now (and I understand that it will soon be addressed), that program has the ALT key hard coded. The workaround is to ask KDE to release its use of that key. I have googled around but I can't find how this can be achieved. Can anyone offer any suggestions? I'm using OpenSuSE 11.4 64bit, 2.6-desktop kernel and KDE 4.6. Regards, Martin |

System Settings -> Workspace Appearance and Behavior -> Window Behavior -> Window Behavior -> Window Actions -> change "Modifier key".

Thank you Hans,
Hmmm.... I can follow you to "System Settings -> Workspace Appearance and Behavior"! But this all that I can I see when I get there: http://susepaste.org/33579036 Any idea why I have lost step three "Window Behavior"?? Regards, Martin |

Ah, by "Workspace Appearance and Behavior" I meant the group name (in tree view it shows up as a level). Sometimes I write it in parenthesis, but lately I tend to skip that.
So in other words: just click on "Window Behavior" and follow the rest from there. Sorry about the confusion.
