Taskbar stretching in twin view

Fri Oct 28, 2011 10:00 pm
I am running two nvidia graphics cards. I have one card running two monitors in TwinView the other runs a "Separate X screen" Xinerama is enabled.

The taskmanager bar now stretches across the bottom of the both of my screens, also my login, and certain windows open between the two monitors which are running in twin view(half on the far right of one, and half on the far right of the other)

Before I installed my second graphics card my task manager only was on one desktop, I want it to function like that again.

Can someone tell me what I need to do?

Thanks in advance

Did you ever receive any responses to this post?

I am having the same issue now and would like to try to put things back the way they were before the 3rd monitor here as well.

Thank you..

In this case you need to configure your monitors to act independently, and simply position them to be side by side. I am not sure if this is possible with the Nvidia drivers however. If it is possible, then the Plasma Workspace will see the two screens as separate displays and will prevent the panel from crossing over on to the other screen.
