Have "activities" replaced virtual desktops?

Sat Nov 26, 2011 11:42 pm It seems to me that "activities" are the same as what virtual desktops used to be? Is there any reason to use virtual desktops anymore if you use activities? I personally see activities as "higher in hierarchy" than virtual desktops, they provide a way for me to separate my computer activities. However, I still use virtual desktop to organize windows within an activity. Problem solved?
