Hi.
I'm trying to make a custom device action in device manager for a script to format removable media storage devices. For this, I've added new device actions as such - "The device property removable must equal true" or Parameter type: Property match Device type: storage device Value name: removable Equals true But, the action is not displayed for any kind of device. |

In the case of Plasma's Device Notifier, you have to restart Plasma for new actions to be detected.

You may wish to try working with "solid-hardware query 'predicate'".
In this case, your predicate is "StorageDevice.removable == true". This doesn't match on my UDisks based system to connected flash drives. On the other hand, "StorageDrive.removable == true" does match, both my optical drive and a flash drive I tested. However, it matches the device itself, and not the partitions on it.
