I need some help on Dolphin's interface
![]() On one computer, on Dolphin's left side I have the Places Panel and the Information Panel, one above other, so I see them both at the same time. On my other computer, these panels are tabbed, so I can see them only one at the time, and I need to press the tab to switch panel. I've tried a lot of things, but I can't remove the tabbed view so that I have both panels viewable at the same time on this computer Any ideas how to remove the tabbed view? Dragging doesn't do what's is expect namely to "unglue" the panel. Dolphin's version is 1.7 on KDE 4.7.4. Thanks |

Cool, I didn't know about that little bit of functionality until I tried it
![]() What you need to do is first unlock the panels if needed, then select the information tab and try to drag it away, towards the bottom. With a little bit of moving around the Panels view should shift upward leaving an empty spot selected where you can then drop the information view into.

Yeahh, they where locked
![]() ![]() I've unlocked them, and voilá, free to move them around. Problem solved, issue closed. I'm also closing 2011... ![]() |
