Are you starting this process with a fresh/empty home directory? Please note that setting files stored in paths under $KDEDIR will only be used by KDE if a local setting does not override it. (You can make the keys immutable to prevent this issue - see Kiosk tutorials on Techbase for how to do this).

thank you o) i get it but i have one problem that still persists on right click menu i can't see my fantastic nerd panels :(

i have done a debian package but it had kubutnu-netbook-settings and others kubuntu stuff like dependencies so... i guess it was that

every application is doing good now
dolphin with up button and filter bar
ark with autoclose option by default and open folder
kate with konsole stuff into etc

the only **** that still resist is plasma :D

Good to hear it is pretty much working :)

For Plasma, you might find it better to look at Plasma's Javascript framework, which is designed to allow System Administrators and Distributors to customise the default appearance of Plasma.

You can find documentation on this on Techbase.

well i have already did my javascript dirty job and it works fine on local user ...
i mean i did this
http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/Pl ... ent=147589

Installing locally works very well using this

plasmapkg -t layout-template -i "$file"

so i have imaged that to install it system-wide i should do just copy javascripts

/usr/share/kde-peace-settings/share/apps/plasma/

and services here

/home/shared/plasma-panels-script/Testingkubuntu/usr/share/kde-peace-settings/share/services/

but it keeps to not load them :(

solved :

remove every package kubuntu-default-*stuff it could interfere

then

first i did this file

/etc/X11/Xsession.d/50peace

it has this

export KDEDIRS=/usr/share/kde-peace-settings/:/usr

this will say to kde where find stuff

here there are my config files dolphinrc katerc etc

/usr/share/kde-peace-settings/share/config/

here there is a dolphin modified interface (up button etc )

/usr/share/kde-peace-settings/share/apps/dolphin/dolphinui.rc

/usr/share/kde-peace-settings/share/apps/plasma/layout-templates/

here there are javascripts

and here the services to make javascript executable via right click

/usr/share/kde-peace-settings/share/kde4/services/

:D thank to aseigo and you bcooksley
