Hello,
Today I have switched from gnome 2 to kde 4.7.4 on Fedora. I am liking it but I feel like I am visiting a foreign land. Some of my .pdf files have a thumbnail preview but most do not. I don't understand this behavior as all have thumbnail preview in gnome. The folowing attributes have been defined: wrench > Adjust view properties > show preview wrench > configure dolphin > General > previews > PostScript, PDF and DVI Files When I view properties and preview of the .pdf files with thumbnails null there is none listed. I think it stands to reason that the .pdf with no thumbnail preview was created with no preview. How do I change my kde settings to display the first page like gnome does? Thanks in advance, Mike |

Can you open those files without preview with KDE's PDF viewer, Okular? Are they different in size compared to the others?

Thanks for the reply! Yes I can open the pdf files. The files are larger. I found the variable for size. I noticed when I increased the size limit the that the larger pdf's thumbnails appeared but it was sluggish. I think gnome is better in this instance but still not a better over all.
