The above situation was with the default driver - I think its called RadeonDriver (another problem is a boot splash screen it is small not in center - no good resolution).
I tried with proprietory FGLRX driver from aditional drivers. I use xorg.conf, with this logon screen is got a good resolution everything is in place. (problem with boot splash screen stay, now screen is enormous see only a part of it). I use program gnome-pie (circular application launcher). With FGLRX driver gnome-pie is slow, late. I tried with manually installed Catalist 12.1 also slow, late. Much better work with RadeonDriver and therefore I returned to the default driver. (With FGLRX driver) When I'm in ATI Center adjust the position of the monitors in xorg.config is automatically entered values, I did not have to write anything. (With RadeonDriver) Is there a possibility somehow automatically entry value in xorg.conf. I tried to manually enter values but without success not work, blocking system when restart... |

xrandr is simply the runtime equivalent to storing the values in xorg.conf.
Does this issue disappear once you login, or does it persist?

It's the same issue I see. By default KDM goes in clone mode with the lowest available resolution (i.e. the one of the smallest screen). Short of configuring xorg.conf, I'm not sure how to fix it.
If properly set, this issue disappears the moment one logs in.
