I've installed the Ghost Windows Dec and Panel theme. But I have yet to find a compliment for the Widget Style aspect. The URL for the full theme is http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Gh ... ent=107902 but I don't know how to install themes in Kubuntu.

It doesn't affect the whole Desktop though i.e. like it should in this picture http://jmtodaro.com/img/shots/kde-ghost.jpg. Just the panel appearance honestly. I have the Ghost Windows Decoration to compliment the Desktop Theme as well. I'm guessing there's a Widget Style theme, Color Setting scheme too but I can't figure out how to install that. Nor can I figure out if there's an Icon set to go with it.

My guess is that the widget style is the standard Oxygen, you can get the color scheme here: http://jmtodaro.com/downloads

Install it in System Settings -> Application Appearance -> Colors -> Import Scheme. (You can also install it directly from "Get New Schemes...)

oh nice. btw how do you view hidden files in a folder?

I also would like to install a Windows Decoration manually. Is that in the same folder under /home/username/.kde/ ?

In Dolphin: Menu (right-most icon in toolbar) -> Show Hidden Files or Alt+.

You can install the window decoration from System Settings -> Workspace Appearance -> (Window Decorations ->) Get New Decorations..., -> Install "Ghost (Aurorae)". not sure how to do it manually.

yea. there's a tar.bz2 file for an alternate windows decoration. the current one doesn't align the fonts very well with its bizarre shape. if anyone knows the default folder location for windows decorations that'd be great.

Try ~/.kde4/share/apps/aurorae/themes/ (might be .kde instead of .kde4).

Oh. I didn't know this but the Flat Ghost decoration I downloaded is for DeKorator. Whatever that is.

DeKorator "is a themable window decorator for KDE SC 4.x." aka "pixmap window decoration engine" http://kdepepo.wordpress.com/2010/04/01 ... rator-0-5/ http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/?content=87921

It's a window decoration engine, check the Window Decorations module in System Settings.
