Running Mint 12 KDE with Plasma. When I select Activities from the upper-right corner thingy (don't know the name - sorry), the Activities bar slides up from the bottom of the screen, then slides down and goes away immediately. The only way to have it stay is to have a window open at the time, such as a Konsole window. Any ideas why it's doing this?

Additional info: it works fine if I right-click on the desktop and select Activities that way. It only seems to have the problem by selecting Activities from the drop-down menu on the current activity name in the corner of the screen (where the cashew is).
