Hi guys

I have been having this issue for quite a while now. i have tried to delete my .kde and start from scratch and also with and without desktop effects but the problem persists.

The problem is that plasma (the bar, plasmoids etc) become unresponsive and later freeeze altoghetere after a few minutes. this is fixed after a reboot but starts again after a fairly short use.

i would love to hear any suggestion and if anyone else is havinf this issue

Are you running the networkmanagement applet, or are you using "Apper" for software management? Both of these have had issues with such freezes, which are resolved in the latest versions.

This can also occur in some circumstances with the Pastebin applet.

I have actually never used any of the mentioned applets. i will try getting rid of some of the applets not shipped with default kde im using (veromix, wicd applet etc) and see of that helps
