Tweaking size of tasks on the panel

Thu Apr 12, 2012 11:39 am
Hi all

I've been trying lately to change the size of the visualized tasks in the panel, in order to have them cover the entire height of it, which doesn't happen for the default Air theme (and many others).
Since I'm using Icon Tasks and like BIG icons (100%), it's quite necessary, otherwise it's difficult to see what programs are open and what are not.

I've tried to change the size of the elements in widgets/tasks.svgz, making them bigger (60x60 now!), changing their aspect ratio (they're now squared) and so forth, but nothing seemed to help.
Never the less, by just using the tasks.svgz from Helium theme seems to work. Only, they're not Air tasks :)

so, what is the trick? :D

Have you checked the hints/properties present in the SVG file and the elements contained in it?

I've tried a bit but I'm not really sure of what to look for.

There is a "hint-stretch-borders" figure but I don't know how it affects the behaviour - it's rectangular for Air and circular for Helium, but even switching them I couldn't notice any difference.

then some "focus-hint-left/right/up/down-margin" rectangles too in the Air theme, but they seem to have no particular properties I can change..
