I very much like the slide-out konsole yakuake (you hit a screen border with your cursor and a konsole slides out) - it gives you the possibility for having a konsole at your fingertips all the time which stays out of your way when you don't need it. So I was wondering if something similar can be done / exists for dolphin. As a first attempt, I tried to create a new taskbar which automatically hides when inactive, and only contains a folder view widget. But the folder view works quite differently on a taskbar in comparison to how it works on the desktop - on the taskbar it just gives you one icon and not a "dolphin style" view; so this turned out not to be what I wanted.

Any ideas/hints how to emulate a "yakuake style" dolphin? Maybe there exists a suitable plasmoid out there I haven't found yet?
