Shadow of pushbuttons?

Sun Apr 29, 2012 7:30 am
Hi, everyone.

I'm developing a small plasmoid which uses the plasma-themed PushButtons. However, when I kill the plasma-desktop and restart it, all such pushbuttons seem to have a large dropshadow. This causes the affected button to have much less visual area.

This is also true for existing plasmoids like the calculator. Also, when NetworkManagement creates buttons dynamically, such buttons also come with shadow.

This behavior is independent of the choice of the plasma theme.

Anybody also experienced this? Do you consider this a bug in plasma, or is there any API I can invoke to eliminate such behavior like "PushButton::setShadow(false)"?

Thank you all!

Under which version of the KDE Workspace you see this problem?
