Hello all,
first of all congratulations to every single person that contributes to kde!! I just think it's awesome and it's really a mystery to me why it hasn't been adopted as the default desktop for all distros after the monstrocity that's called gnome 3... but anyhow, that's just me.

So my question is...

I'm using the new icons-only task manager in my panels. However I'm noticing a very weird behaviour with minimized windows. With the old, usual task manager, when I hover my mouse over any minimized window, I get a small thumbnail after a few seconds... perfect, all good. HOWEVER, with the the new icons-only task manager, when I hover the mouse over any minimized window, I get the thumbnail AND the whole window is unminimized temporarily while the mouse is hovering over that particular window. This is really anoying with maximized windows that have been minimized to the task bar, as when I hover, albeit momentarily, they can cover my whole screen which I find very distracting.

So my question is, Is this a bug or is this the normal behaviour? ??? 8)
Is my description clear or do I need to post a screenshot or something?

You need to disable a certain desktop effect to change this behavior.

Go to System Settings | Desktop Effects | All Effects and deselect Highlight Window.

That was it!! Thank you so much!
I'm on kubuntu 12.04, however I didn't think it was a desktop effect, it didn't occur to me at all because I have a dual monitor setup and on my second monitor I have a 2nd panel with the normal task manager and it wasn't doing that.
Anyhow, thank you!
