I'm not good at Qt and KDE development, so...

I'm suggesting to add option in icontasks settings: Group click action - show tooltip (like default icontasks tooltip). It'll be really useful.

Feature requests should be made in the KDE Brainstorm. Please be aware that "Icontasks" is a seperate applet to the "Icon-Only Task Manager" which is being shipped with KDE (or at least will be, in 4.9).

From what I can tell, it provides a convenient tooltip either immediately or after a delay upon hovering it which shows all windows from that application (and clicking the icon triggers the appropriate KWin effect - or a popup menu depending on the settings).
