Hi,

plasma-desktop is telling me about incompatible old plugins at every startup (in the logfiles).

how am i supposed to filter the good vs the bad plugins? is there any gui available?
or any commands?

i really dislike that there is no central point of seeing whats installed inside plasma :(

can anyone help?

could you post the actual messages and which log file(s) they appear in. Do you get desktop notifications also?

The exact message is:
Code: Select all
plasma-desktop(3464)/libplasma Plasma::isPluginVersionCompatible: unversioned plugin detected, may result in instability

and its reported repeadly in
Code: Select all
~/.xsession-errors

and nope, no desktop notifications

I experience this on my KDE Trunk system as well - and it is pure of any old plugins. I would recommend ignoring this message as a result.

This is simply a warning message. It can be safely ignored.
