Hi,

plasma-desktop is telling me about incompatible old plugins at every startup (in the logfiles).

how am i supposed to filter the good vs the bad plugins? is there any gui available?
or any commands?

i really dislike that there is no central point of seeing whats installed inside plasma

could you post the actual messages and which log file(s) they appear in. Do you get desktop notifications also?

The exact message is:

and nope, no desktop notifications

I experience this on my KDE Trunk system as well - and it is pure of any old plugins. I would recommend ignoring this message as a result.

do you know it there will be any fix of this error before the release of 4.9?

This is simply a warning message. It can be safely ignored.
