Grid layout in activity templates

Thu Sep 13, 2012 10:36 pm
Hello,

I'm just playing around with activity templates, trying to write my own one. It does work quite well, but I wonder how to create a new activity with a grid layout? I uset this site but didnt found any information there: http://techbase.kde.org/KDE_System_Admi ... pScripting

Best regards

My suggestion would be to look at the existing grid layout template, adjusting it to your needs (after making a copy, of course).

I didn't found the grid template. All other templates are located in /usr/share/kde4/apps/plasma/layout-templates or ~/.kde/share/apps/plasma/layout-templates, e.g. the template for the default panel and desktop, but none of them creates a grid layout.

Code: Select all
var activity = new Activity("org.kde.griddesktop")

That’s it. :-)
