Hello,

I was curious if there is some way to make the date/time plasma applet appear the same?

Right now I have the time showing, which is sitting slightly higher then in the middle of the bar, with the long format of the date on the right centered but not the same font.. so it looks wrong.

I am looking at other clock applets but I was hoping to find a way to make the one KDE comes with work better. Any thoughts?

I can look into it, but since I was looking at clocks I came across a different plasmoid I like and when I installed it, it is now now setting up properly on the bar :(

I kinda forgot about this posting.. Im glad I remembered before I a made a new one LOL

I still have this odd issue of the clock and date not appearing the same to one another. The clock is a larger font than the date and it just looks kinda silly. Does anyone else have this? I tried the other clock mentioned about but same thing.

Can you please provide a screenshot of this so I can check if this behaviour is intended?
Screenshots need to be uploaded onto a 3rd party site such as Imagebin or Imageshack.

Sure!

http://imagebin.org/236202

I am using KDE 4.9 with the Ronak theme and plastik decoration in Kubuntu though I have seen this same behaviour in other theme (including the default) and other distributions with KDE.

From what I can see, there doesnt seem to be an ability to adjust the font type or size for the date itself, while you can somewhat with the clock. So they dont match up if used together.

Hope that helps!

That definitely shouldn't occur - and is a papercut visual bug. Can you please file a bug report at bugs.kde.org (and please attach your screenshot to the report directly) so the developers can take a look at it?
