How many releases will this bug be present. I would like to know, since it's such a visible bug. I'm sure everyone has seen it. It's one of these bugs one does not even bother to report.

But since you will ask what I'm talking about:

Maximised:
Image
Minimised:
Image

And obviously there haven't been any highlights, and if any highlight would have happened, it should have been cleared when the window took the focus. But no. And this isn't something that only happens once every month or every week, it always happens.

So I would like to know what do developers think about this.

If you can - does closing the window fully (it is not necessary to close the application completely) and opening it back up alleviate this until the next time it tries to get your attention?

Closing the application is usually the only thing that fixes it.

Running F17, latest from yum.

Even the window I'm currently in right now (firefox), is permanently highlighted on the taskbar! Wonder why this is...
