Widget to embed HTML?

Fri Dec 28, 2012 12:10 pm
Hello,

I would like to embed HTML (exactly my Google Calendar) into a widget frame on my desktop. Is there such a widget available?

Thanks.

You should be able to use either the "Web Slice" or "Web Browser" applets to do this.

Hello,

It's been a while I posted the question. I haven't been able to view my Google Calendar in Webslice. I've tried the HTML calendar view, but that failed too.
The Google Calendar widget I discovered on the way is really not satisfying.

Could you help me further? Thanks.

If Google Calendar offers it's own form of widget embedding, then this might be usable in the web browser applet.

Otherwise you'll probably be forced to setup a *.ics feed (if Google permits this still) in Kontact, and try using the Calendar applet (not sure if this will work relatively well, especially if you are not already using PIM applications).
