It is happy to see that kded-appmenu has been added into KDE 4.10. But I can not find krunner-appmenu or plasma-applets-appmenu in Arch Linux's official repo. It seems that Arch Linux did not pack those two programs into their repos. Is krunner-/plasma-applets-appmenu added into KDE's repository? Thank you~

it's a kcm module, found in systemsetting and only currently available for the oxygen style (iirc)
systemsettings -> application appearance -> style -> applications -> style -> oxygen THEN fine tuning -> menu bar -> menu style |

That setting is not oxygen-specific (I'm using bespin in kubuntu and the setting is there and works as expected).
IIRC the kded-appmenu implementation now comes in one of the core KDE packages.

Thank you. I found the setting there. But there is still a question: When a person makes the "Menubar style" to "Only export" option, he/she needs the "plasma-applets-appmenu" widget to cooperate with kded-appmenu, because under that configuration one can get access to the menu bar only via plasma widget. So I always used plasma-applets-appmenu together with kded-appmenu to have a Unity-like global menu experience since KDE 4.8(kded-appmenu installed through kde-apps.org). In KDE 4.10, kded-appmenu is merged into KDE workspace, however I could not find infomation about whether plasma-applets-appmenu was merged. That is why I posted this question. Do you know the answer? Thank you very much |

I have no plasma-applets-appmenu widget, I thought export , exports the menu to krunner

Do you have "Appmenu action launcher" plugin in your krunner shipped with kde-workspace? |

in openSUSE I have appmenu-krunner and it is it the playground repo not the standard KDE one, it is for KDE apps that are alpha, beta or still in development
