Plasma using a lot of CPU resources

Fri Apr 12, 2013 9:33 pm
Hi,
After upgrading to Kubuntu 13.04 Beta 2, with kde 4.10.2, Plasma constantly uses around 23% CPU. I have tried to remove widgets, I have updated the packages, I have restarted plasma and kwin. Nothing seems to work.

Can you help me? Or give me some advice on how to submit a bug? What will I need to attach and explain?

Thanks,
Jeppe

create a new user, login as that use does it have this problem?

revert you plasma desktop to the default, assumes there's a bad widget or widget config
Code: Select all
kquitapp plasma-desktop
 sleep 20s
 mkdir -p $HOME/plasma-config/
 mv $(kde4-config --localprefix)/share/config/plasma-desktop* $HOME/plasma-config/
plasma-desktop &

OpenSuse Leap 42.1 x64, Plasma 5.x
