What does 'Stopping' an activity mean? How does it help --- memory freed up, less CPU?
In other words, does one miss something if one has several activities running? |

Stopping an activity will unload and stop the execution of the associated applets, as well as any applications tied to the activities in question.
It may save some memory and CPU usage, depending on your circumstances and how you are using activities.
