I opened a particular file in kwrite in Activity A. I then went to window menu - more actions - special window settings - size and position - special window settings - activity - force to Activity A.
Then I finished editing, stopped Activity A. Switched to Activity B. And deleted Activity A. When I click on the same file now, Kwrite starts (I can see it in Control-Escape window) but the window is not visible! I tried recreating Activity A but to use. How do I get out of this mess?

Disable the window rules and the problem should go away (I've found myself with this problem a couple of times).
