FC18, KDE 4.10.3 all current patches
Software updater icon appears in SysTray "You have 42 updates." I click on icon, and a window grows which includes maybe the first 8 or so. That window has no scroll bar, and no amount of teasing with the mouse or keyboard will make it scroll to display the remaining available updates. If I run Software Updater from the normal start menu, a regular wholly independent window opens, which scrolls normally. What to fix? Thanks, JimR |

You can use the mouse wheel to scroll.
At least that works here. |

This does not sound like part of KDE itself, but rather a Fedora KDE specific addon.
Can you post a screenshot of it please?

If I am not mistaken, the OP means the Apper plasmoid. On openSUSE this is contained in the package "apper-plasmoid". It looks like this: @flaflashr: Is this what you mean? Holding down the left mouse button on the update list and dragging up/down works for scrolling as well here. |
