In the Kickoff application launcher, in the computer menu, there is a picture of a laptop whereas before it was a picture of a desktop computer, how do I change this?

Kickoff determines if your computer is a laptop by checking to see if it has a battery - and assumes it to be a laptop if this is the case.
Other than modifying the code (or making the battery disappear) there is nothing much you can do here i'm afraid.
