I have installed this ROSA Launcher (Simple Welcome) plasmoid, because Homerun currently lacks searching functionality. :(
However this ROSA launcher appears below all the other windows just like every other plasmoid, as seen in this picture: http://i.stack.imgur.com/rNgqG.jpg
Is there way to make this particular plasmoid appear at the most top level? ???

Thanks in advance! ^-^
(P.S. This plasmoid start to behave fine, when KDE's window focus method is set to "Focus Under Mouse", but not with the default method)

Homerun (at least recent versions) should appear as an overlay: if ROSA Launcher doesn't do it, it's probably a bug in ROSA Launcher itself.

Nevertheless, if you want to try (it may not be what you want): a solution is to launch your plasmoid in a separate program called "plasma-windowed" and instruct it to stay above the windows. You can achieve this effect by issuing
Code: Select all
kstart --keepabove plasma-windowed <NAME OF PLASMOID>

Change NAME OF PLASMOID to the actual name of the plasmoid used. To know which is, install "plasmoidviewer" and run "plasmoidviewer --list" to have a list of all plasmoids installed.

With regards of Homerun lacking search, this is odd. Can you open a new thread on that with more detail?
