Sometimes I'll pull up krunner and will start typing and once I hit the amount of characters at which krunner will start showing results it will freeze. It will no longer accept input and will not show results. I have to kill it (pkill krunner) and relaunch it. I don't have any kind of log (where would this log be?), but next time it happens I'll be sure to grab the log and post it here. This has happened across a few different distros, so I'm fairly confident that it's not a distro-spesific issue. Hopefully there's someone here who's experienced this and knows a fix!

To determine if a particular runner is at fault, try attaching a debugger and getting a backtrace from KRunner when it freezes next.
