Hi all

Everything is in the title: when changing the volume, the bar uses a font that is way too big: http://wstaw.org/m/2014/06/26/plasma-desktopHJv652.png

Is there any way to fix that?

Thanks :)

In the case of the volume on screen display, the size of the font is dictated by the size of the OSD itself to ensure display consistency. Otherwise the elements would be incorrectly apportioned to each other. I'm afraid there is no way to override this.

Too bad then :(

BTW, why does KDE start "inferring" "good" settings for people without letting me change them? ;) E.g. the cursor size didn't change as I changed my DPI setting...

Unfortunately the cursor size is set in pixels and therefore cannot be changed as the system DPI changes.
In the case of Plasma, these settings are inferred to ensure problems don't develop - which could happen if the font was too large. In this case it would spill out of the OSD, which wouldn't appear correct.
