Activities problem

Thu Jul 17, 2014 12:22 am
Sometimes when i log in my activity dissapears and instead i have a blanck activity. If log out and log in again 80% of the times my previous activity comes back but with the extra blank activity. Is there anyway to solve this? I don't even use the activities system (4.13.2)

That sounds partially familiar, have a look at viewtopic.php?f=67&t=121649.

This might be caused by KActivityManagerD failing to start - or taking too long to start. Can you check in System Activity / KSysguard, to see if a "kactivitymanagerd" process is running?

Have you been able to reproduce the issue since it initially showed up again? Unfortunately I can't recommend much other than logout and back in when this issue shows up...

No, i can't notice any pattern or anything to be able to reproduce it, it seems random. It happens like once a week only so is not so annoying, thanks anyway
