Desktop Folder View Moves on Reboot

Wed Jul 23, 2014 9:21 am
Not quite sure why it happens but when I changed virtual desktop settings and some other minor stuff last week, and introduced a second desktop folder view. Since then neither will stay where I put them after a shutdown / reboot. It's beginning to annoy having to re-postion them every time. Any ideas?

Thanks.

How close together are the two Folder View instances? Could you try ensuring there is plenty of clearance between them?

I think I figured it by accident. Opensuse has default " Activities" already set up, I clicked the "Desktop" one messing about and the Folder View boxes snapped back to where I put them. So I deleted the other two, "Desktop Icons" and "New Activity", and booted this morning and it seems to have worked, they stayed where I put them.
