I have my screen locker set to start automatically after 7 minutes, with the password required after 60 seconds. This works well; if I leave the computer alone, it locks the screen (then later suspends). However, if I suspend the computer manually, a password is not required after resume. This occurs if I suspend either using the Kickoff Application Launcher or by using keyboard shortcut linked to sleep (KDE Daemon). Is there a way to require the password after manually triggering a suspend?

Arch Linux
KDE 4.12.2

Enable Systemsettings->Power Management->Advanced Settings->Lock screen on resume.

Excellent, thanks! I was looking in Display and Monitor > Screen Locker.
