Starting application Wireshark from application launcher or from run command interface always ask me for root access. I have set Wireshark to not require root access (just dumpcap) so I would like to remove this so it works as running wireshark command from terminal. How do I alter Wireshark app launcher? Where is the file located?

run "kmenuedit" (also "edit..." from the launcher context menus) and alter the behavior there. Either the wireshark service invokes kdesu/gksu/etc. or is set to start as differrent user (2nd tab)

The actual file is somewhere in /usr/share/applications/, but instead of editing that, you want to shadow it in ~/.local/share/applications
