Firstly, excuse me if I post in a wrong forum / place. The question is that I'm trying to restablish my Plasma environment after some theme changes...
I think that my KDE version is # kdeinit4 --version Qt: 4.8.6 KDE: 4.14.2 And the output of ~/.session-errors should be found there: http://pastebin.com/hTxQG0Zv And as I explained in the subject box, not platfoms neither wallpaper or icon appear after login (kdm3)... just a black screen. Any suggestion or indication... will be appreciated. Thanks, David |

moved to Plasma, definitely not a Beta/Rc issue as 41.4 has shipped
you should 1st confirm it's a config issue by logging in as a different user if it worked until you changed themes and as a different user then from a virtual terminal (alt+F1) log into your account and rename ~/.kde[4]/config/kplasmarc whic should set theme to default then try restarting KDE |

Google01103,
Thanks a lot for you answer... Finally, it seems that it came back... I think that it was a desktop icon related problem... David |
