I'm using KDE 5.3 on Kubuntu 15.04, in my personal laptop.
I have issues with the Update Notification Icon.

Problem: I get a notification every week to update software: "Updates Required".
Click on the icon, or open Muon Update Manager, or run `apt-get update` and the updates are carried out.
Notification icon status still reads "Updates Required".

I would expect the Notification Icon to go away, or at the very least to change status.

This happens every week if I don't update earlier.

I haven't found any post like this. What other info can I give you to look into it more thoroughly?
Thank you for your help.

It is a known bug in Kubuntu's notifier that they have not yet been able to fix.
