After an updgrade about a month or two ago, I lost all my Window Switcher alternatives (including my default Cover Switcher) and I was left only with Breeze (which, to be polite, is not my cup of tea).
I have also installed, via systemsettings, additional switchers, but they are broken.
Any ideas?

Alright. I meant that I didn't have any upgrades pendign given my configuration. Anyway, I upgraded with that ppa and nothing changed.
However, after doing that I created a new user and the cover switch works perfectly.
I have been browsing my kde folders in search of the file that stores these settings but I haven't had any luck.

file=~/.config/kwinrc
section=[TabBox]
line=LayoutName

not sure best way so I would suggest (after back up file):
stop kwin_x11, remove section, save file, restart kwin_x11
update: or maybe:
remove section, save file, restart kwin_x11 with
Code: Select all
kwin_x11 --replace

Alas! It didn't work.
I even copied the corresponding sections from the new user's config file (which actually works), but nothing happened.

EDIT:
I just removed the file and it worked.
THANKS MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
