Hey guys, trying to customize my desktop a bit. Have been using "Oxygen" instead of "Air" and it looks real good with Lancelot. The issue is, I would like to have a Blue Theme also - for different Desktop Wallpapers. Can someone leed me in the right direction to adding another color for this?
Sorry if this is in the wrong place, don't know if this is a Plasma thing or Kwin, and I think I have Plasma5 with MintKDE-17.1? EDIT: I see now that I should have been in the Customization section sorry. Thanks pcpunk |

This is the correct place to ask such a question.
While I'm not familiar enough with the formats to say where to go to change the color, I may be able to point you in the right directions. First, you might consider examining the Colorbit and Freeze themes (downloadable on kde-look, using the Get New Themes dialog from the Desktop Theme configuration window) which take their colors from the general application color scheme. Second, most of the pieces are svg files which can be opened and edited using an svg editor like Inkscape. From there you should be able to change the colors of the different pieces to your liking.

I did try a few things, and will take a look at this "(downloadable on kde-look, using the Get New Themes dialog from the Desktop Theme configuration window)" I did try this to some extent but did not know what to look for at the time, never saw any basic colors for the application I am looking for. Some good things for me to try, thanks!
