Disable touchscreen plasmoid applet

Tue Jan 26, 2016 6:39 am
Hi!

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help. I usually don't have to ask, but I cannot find what I am looking for no matter how hard I try.

I just switched from a recent (but not current) LinuxMint KDE to Kubuntu KDE5. I'm okay with how things are, but there was a useful thing that I had found that helped me. It was a Plasma Applet or Plasmoid that allowed me to disable the touchscreen part of my TabletPC, a Toshiba Portege M780.

I know I can totally turn off the touchscreen with some xorg.conf thing or some xsetwacom cli command. Since I really just use the TabletPC pen to mark up pdfs, not as a touch tablet, that's probably what I'll do.

But that applet was so cool. It allowed me to turn the touchscreen on and off on the fly. Maybe it'll come around if I just wait and let things progress, but I thought that I'd ask. I can't even find what that applet was called.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about, feel free to help...please.
