I know this is a bit of an old chestnut, but are there command-line equivalents for the GUI logout, restart, shutdown... options? The "solutions" i've found all use variations on the "qdbus" command, and that ain't there in my distro (Mageia5).

consult mageia forums. it may be called "qdbus-4" or "qdbus4", maybe even "qtdbus", but if it's really not available at all, pick another distro. a hell lot of scripts relies on it.
