I am trying to use folder views for different folders on my system. I want to have a folder view that contains internet items and another for office items etc. If I have a folder view for the Desktop folder (default), items I add there show up as the program name (ie LibreOffice Calc) where if I add the item to another folder to be used in the specific folder view. (ie I create a /home/username/Office folder for my office folder view source. I add my links or copy of programs to this folder the same as I would for the Desktop folder but instead the items show up as a .desktop labeled icon. (ie calc.desktop for my same LibreOffice Calc that I referenced previously) How can I make any folder view present the program name instead of the file name like it does on the Desktop folder view? Thank you,
