Segmentation fault when connecting a second screen

Hi,

Just some background information first. I bought a Mac Book Pro, and replaced the OS with Kubuntu obviously, because I have been using Kubuntu for so long I just can't switch now, know what I mean? And all went swimmingly well, until I had to install(I think this was the issue start point) subversion 1.7. At this time I have two screens connected to the machine, a LG 4K screen and the laptop screen. At which point I had to add the ppa wandisco. And I guess there are some incompatibilities in the libraries, specifically libjpeg8.

Now when I boot(with screen attached or attach the screen after boot) there is a seg fault in the krunner, QT perhaps? Takes a very long time to finally initialize, but does eventually, but the laptop screen is not operational(which I don't care about), but troublesome because the same thing was happening with the last laptop I had(which eventually dies a horrible death, Sony Vaio Z) and I am now suspicious that the reason the hardware gave up is because of this continual crashing?

So I am particularly interested to resolve this issue, if there is someone that is not only a genius but clairvoyant and telepathic, and can communicate directly with the machine and the kernel please feel free to offer sage guidance to achieve optimal Plasma usage.

I could post the crash report, but will look very ugly no, and I don't see a 'file attach' link. But I should anyway right...

Cheers,
Michael
