I have recently switched to KDE Plasma and I am currently facing the following problem: When the screen is locked a black screen will be shown with the following:
The screen locker is broken and unlocking is not possible anymore. In order to unlock switch to a virtual terminal (e.g. Ctrl+Alt+F2), log in and execute the command: loginctl unlock-sessions Afterwards switch back to the running session (Ctrl+Alt+F8). Although the above is a good workaround to unlock the locked session, is there any solution how this can be avoided and thus the screen can be locked successfully? Thanks in advance. |

Can you run
/usr/lib64/libexec/kscreenlocker_greet --testing and attach the output. |

I found it at
but it doesn't give out any useful information
1. I have run it, 2. clicked on "swith user" button, 3. Choose my wife session, 4. And once again I have the same issue on screen |
