For some reason, I cannot switch desktops anymore using the mouse wheel with the mouse above a desktop's background wallpaper,
There seems to be no user configuration. Any ideas how I can get this behaviour back?

A blessed relief IMHO o)

But seriously it's still there... Just...
  1. RHS mouse click on empty desktop
  2. Desktop Settings
  3. Mouse Actions
  4. Add Action
  5. Move you mouse wheel (input)
  6. Set Action to Switch Desktop
  7. Rinse & repeat for other wheel scroll direction (4.)

Ah, thanks to your suggestions I found the place where the mouse actions are. In my case this was via a right click on the desktop->folder view settings->mouse actions. However, According to these settings it should work. I tried other actions for the mouse wheel, but none of them work.
As the mouse wheel does work in applications, thus looks like a bug to me...
